Why we made this
Not everything needs all the bells and whistles
Internal communication doesn’t always need all the bells and whistles. That’s why we work with three levels of detail for explainers: Essential, Detailed and Refined. This GDPR video shows our Essential level: clear, efficient and deliberately simple.
How we approached it
Visually simple
Calm scenes and simple visuals, with a focus on the essentials.
Targeted motion
Animation only where it adds something to the story.
The voice-over carries the story
So relatively little animation is enough to get the message across smoothly.
“After all, not every character needs to walk around to tell a story. 😉”
When is this approach right for you?
Functional, without unnecessary complexity
Our Essential tier is a good fit when the message comes first and the main goal is to inform.
